Job purpose:
Oversee and coordinate all logistical activities related to the transportation, storage, distribution, and delivery of vehicles. This role ensures timely delivery, accurate documentation, and compliance with company and industry standards. The coordinator acts as a key link between suppliers, manufacturers, transport providers, and customers to optimize logistics operations, minimize delays, and support overall storage and distribution efficiency within the automotive network. Additionally, this role will manage company driver responsibilities to the General Manager and Geely VIP's visitors and oversee internal fleet operations, including demo fleet management, ensuring optimal utilisation, compliance, and maintenance of company vehicles.
Main responsibilities:
Coordinate vehicle movements from factories to ports, compounds, and dealerships.
Manage logistics partners, carriers, and customs processes to ensure efficient deliveries.
Oversee vehicle allocation, dispatch, tracking, and delivery performance against KPIs.
Monitor customer activity, logistics reporting, and operational compliance standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise lead times, costs, and customer satisfaction.
Manage demo fleet operations, event transport coordination, and VIP driving requirements.
Handle purchase orders, operational enquiries, audits, and other ad-hoc logistics duties.
Education, Skills and Personal characteristics required:
• Bachelor’s degree beneficial but not necessary
• Experience in automotive industry preferably with finished vehicles
• Experience managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in handling customs documentation and vehicle registrations
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel
• Full clean driving license
