Dealer Development Manager – Geely Auto UK Brands

Reporting directly to the Dealer Development Director, the Dealer Development Manager – Geely Auto UK Brands will play a key role in shaping and delivering the go-to-market approach for new and emerging brands within the Geely Auto UK portfolio.
In the initial phase, the role will focus on supporting the formation of go-to-market strategy, leading early investor engagement, and developing the UK network approach for this additional brand. Over time, the role will transition into ongoing network development and performance management responsibilities aligned to the evolving brand portfolio.
This is a high-visibility role requiring strong commercial judgement, experience of dealer network development, and the ability to operate effectively in a pre-launch / scale-up environment.
Main responsibilities:
Go-To-Market & Brand Introduction
• Support UK go-to-market strategy for new Geely Auto brands
• Lead early investor engagement and identify new brand opportunities
• Provide dealer insight on network size, volumes, business cases, facilities, CI and launch readiness
• Work cross-functionally to align brand, network and operational capability
• Support investor materials and commercial proposals
Network Development
• Identify, assess and appoint dealer partners
• Manage franchise approval, contracts and onboarding to launch
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and support dealer set-up
• Support network optimisation, relocation and replacement activity
Corporate Identity & Site Delivery
• Ensure site readiness and CI delivery for new brand launches
• Monitor facility timelines and manage risks
• Embed brand standards from day one
Network Performance
• Monitor KPIs and conduct regular dealer reviews
• Set improvement plans and coordinate support where required
• Support sales targeting and early-stage P&L sustainability
Education, training, and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Automotive dealer development experience.
• Strong understanding of UK dealer network strategy and franchise models.
• Experience in new brand introduction or scale-up environments desirable.
• Established relationships within the UK dealer network advantageous.
