PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Following Geely Auto’s launch into the UK market in October 2025, we are expanding our Dealer Development field team to support the growth and ongoing management of our rapidly developing Dealer Network.
Reporting to the Head of Regional Dealer Development, the Regional Dealer Development Manager will support the prospecting and appointment of high-quality dealers in line with the defined network strategy. On an ongoing basis, the role will work closely with the Geely Auto UK dealer network to develop, monitor, and maintain performance standards across their assigned geography.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Network Development:
- Prospect new or existing dealer partners to deliver on the ideal network plan in line with the company’s growth strategy, partner requirements, and facility standards.
- Coordinate the franchise application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner for committee approval
- Lead the cross-functional onboarding process for new dealers from franchise approval through to site launch, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and key milestones are delivered on time.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of retailer CI compliance and store standards, providing feedback on required improvements and reporting on upgrade timelines.
- Effectively manage the contractual replacement and termination of dealers as required.
- Collaborate with other Regional Dealer Development Managers and the central Network Development team to ensure consistency and alignment across the UK.
Network Performance:
- Maintain accurate reporting on network status, dealer performance, onboarding progress, and site development pipeline within the assigned region.
- Conduct regular dealer meetings to engage and report on performance in relation to defined scorecard KPIs
- Where performance is not in line with expectations, set clear objectives for improvement and support the dealer in achieving those objectives in collaboration with other Geely Auto UK functional teams
- Monitor and maintain dealer P&L performance
- Support the sales targeting process with the Regional Sales Manager
PRINCIPLE CONTACTS/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- Reporting to: Head of Regional Dealer Development
- Internal Stakeholders: Internal teams such as sales, aftersales, marketing, and other functional departments.
- External Stakeholders: The role requires close collaboration with dealers in assigned geography and assigned Dealer group
DECISION MAKING SCOPE
- Screening excellent candidate dealers in assigned region
- Coaching / mentoring dealers in assigned region
KEY CHALLENGES
- Achieve network development targets according to plan.
- Work at pace in a start up / scale up environment.
- Manage ambiguity and display sound business decision making in a complex environment
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
Experience
- Work experience: minimum 5 years of appropriate automotive experience.
- Deep understanding of regional dealer development function.
- Existing good relationships with dealers within assigned geography.
